TRAINING GROUP
The Group exists to provide it's customers, old and new, with a professionally organised training service.
OBJECTIVES:-
• To help identify training needs
• To implement planned systematic training programmes to meet those needs
• To develop courses in line with customer requirements
• To provide quality, cost effective training using skilled and trained instructors.
• To work with the Industry Sector Skills Council and Trade Associations to develop and provide appropriate training for the industry.
• To provide the best advice on training and development matters.
PROFESSIONAL TRAINING SERVICE
The training service ranges from providing telephone advice and assistance, to complete training support including skills audits, training needs analysis, and tailored training programmes.
We are members of the BALI Register of Training Providers. Instructors engaged by the Training Group are registered with Lantra or with an equivalent nationally recognised body.
Courses and other services are priced very competitively, and benefit from our personal approach and efficient service.
Using the network of training providers and colleges in the region, the group can access the most appropriate training for your needs.
TRAINING COURSES
Course schedules are devised according to demand. Where possible the courses are held in-company, on-site or at a suitable venue with specialist facilities where needed.
The instructors and tutors are experts in their subjects and are all assessed and updated on a regular basis.
In general the courses organised by the group fall into one of the following categories:
•Landscaping (Hard, Soft, Interior)
•Machinery Operation & Maintenance
•Legislation
•Health & Safety
•Management & Supervision
Course titles and content can be developed to suit an individual company's need.
Most courses are recognised by a National Training Organisation such as Lantra Sector Skills Council or C.I.T.B. Many courses support learning towards NVQs.
The Group aims to keep abreast of industry developments and arrange appropriate training, e.g. New Roads and Streetworks Act.
Where applicable Competence Assessment can be organised or included at the end of the course, e.g. Chainsaw, Pesticides, Forklift.

The Training Group has customers in the South East including London. Enquiries are welcome from any organisation in this area.
Customers are mainly commercial and private landscapers, and also include groundwork contractors, tree surgeons, golf clubs, nurseries, and local authorities. They range from small family businesses to national organisations with local sites involved in all aspects of hard and soft landscape, construction and maintenance.
